CHC Computers is a business in the IT (Information Technology) industry that offers electronic equipment and software and services.
The materials on CHC Computers web site are provided ” as is ” makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, CHC Computers does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its web site or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

Shipping & Returns
We usually don’t keep stock of items listed on our website at our offices, we order from stock that is held at our distributors as and when required. We update pricing on the website every day to ensure that our pricing matches that of our distributors.
In some cases, changes in stock levels and pricing can occur before we have time to update the website. Therefore we usually recommend that you check stock levels and confirm pricing with us before placing an order.
Should a product or certain products prices change during the time of your purchase and delivery, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to either:
Cancel the order and we will refund any monies paid, including delivery charges, or
Purchase the product at the higher rate.
We will recommend a similar item for your approval or call you to discuss other options.
All pricing is subject to the ROE (rate of exchange) at our distributors.
In the unlikely event of your order getting lost, damaged or stolen during delivery, we will not send you a replacement unit unless you have insurance which is offered to you upon replacing or refunding your order.
Orders above R1000 will not be eligible for Cash on Delivery. Please do an EFT to the Banking Details provided and send proof of payment to the email address provided. Goods will be ordered and delivered after the funds are reflecting in CHC Computers bank account.
Delivery takes 2 to 5 business days, once payment reflects in our account. Delays can be expected due to unforeseen events out of our control. In this unlikely event, you will be notified accordingly. All our orders can be tracked with tracking numbers.
Deliveries will take place between Monday to Fridays.
Goods may not be delivered to a P.O. Box address.
Payment options accepted
CHC Computers accepts payments via EFT at a discounted rate. PayGate for Visa, Mastercard Debit Card, Credit Card. PayPal for International Transactions. It is recommended that you wait for confirmation on your order and total via email, phone or sms where after you may proceed with your payment.

Direct Cash Deposit – note that an additional cash deposit fee of 2.5% total order value will be incurred
A confirmation email can be sent to email@example.com to confirm your order. EFT orders will only be processed once payment is received in CHC Investments T/A CHC Computers FNB Bank Account where after you will receive an email confirming receipt of your payment and a waybill number for your delivery.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for CHC Computers via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by CHC Computers separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currencyThe merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Export restriction The offering on this website is only available to South African clients
Full refunds will be issued for any faulty items, provided it has been returned within 10 working days from date of purchase, if, upon inspection, the unit is found “not faulty” the item can be returned to the client at their own expense.
Consumables like CD’s, DVD’s, Games, Software and Cartridges cannot be returned once opened.
Items that don’t qualify for a full refund can still be returned with an inspection of physical damage. If the returned item is found to be physically damaged, this will result in the warranty being void. A 30% handling fee will be charged for any items returned without original packaging or accessories. CHC Computers also reserves the right at it’s sole discretion to add additional costs for such missing packaging or accessories.
Items returned to CHC Computers should be insured by client and all precautions should be taken by client to ensure that the items are securely packed in protective packaging to prevent any damage to the returned items. Items damaged during transit back to CHC Computers, will not be covered. CHC Computers will not be liable for these damages. CHC Computers offers you an insurance option which will be payable by you the client once the Courier delivery option has been selected.
CHC Computers takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and CHC Computers chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, _____________________ .
All the Products Sold by CHC Computers will be covered by there original warranty period, which will be stated on your invoice. Manufactures warranty may be covered through CHC Computers at an additional fee (administration and pickup/delivery fee) which will be quoted for and paid by the client before the item/s can be collected/retuned.
Should the item/s purchased be found faulty during the warranty period, we will provide you with the details required for the return process. It is the client’s responsibility to deliver the item to CHC Computers and to collect once it has been repaired. CHC Computers also offers this service at an additional cost.
In the event that the item/s is DOA (Dead on Arrival), CHC Computers will collect and delivery unit at no additional cost to the client.
It is the sole responsibility of the client to back up the data on a backup device before returning the item to CHC Computers for replacement, re-installation etc.CHC Computers will not be held responsible for Loss of Any data on any storage device that has a hardware/software fault, stolen, formatted or any other means of loosing its data. CHC Computers provides the service to backup or Clone you unit at an additional. Quotes for such may be requested from firstname.lastname@example.org.
CHC Computers may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
